Beyond the Road
Every athlete carries a story—shaped by the highs and lows, the struggles and triumphs—that makes them uniquely valued and deeply loved. These journeys don’t just define who they are today; they have the power to inspire others along the way.
This space exists to honour the spirit of the athlete and celebrate all that lies beyond the road — the purpose, passion, and resilience that keep us running.

Reset from Tokyo – Lisa Weightman
As a 4 times Olympian, a full-time worker, a mother, and a professional marathoner, to this day Lisa is still breaking records. A 31:20 10K was more than what any of us expected. Here she shares the training post-Tokyo leading up to today, and how she balances her work, family and training.

Calli Thackery
Meet Calli and this is her story. From 🇬🇧 to 🇺🇸, now at 🇦🇺 training wit the bests at Melbourne Track Club. Initially training for a marathon, but shocked herself with a 15:09 at nationals 5000m, a big 28 sec PB, a CWG and World standard.

Ellie Beer
At only 19, Ellie has been to the World Champs, Tokyo Olympics for the 4x400m team relay, and now won her first senior national title in the 400m 🏆

Nicola Hogg
Nicola finished her last Junior national 1500m with a new PB of 4:15.13 and a 🥈. She will be racing at the World U20 Champs in the 1500m and 3000m, then she will head off to Stanford University to continue her academic and athletic pursuits 🇺🇸

Jai Gordon
Jai claimed the national U20 100m title in 10.28(0.7). His first win in four years, another PB and World Junior Qualifier. But what made this moment so special was the joy of racing with his teammate and his heart to inspire the next generation.

Paige Campbell
Paige placed fourth in 9:09.92, just behind her twin Holly (9:08.03) at the National 3000m Championships. They are the hardest working twin I know. Whether working, running or cross-training, they are always showing up and giving their best. So it was such a special moment to see them finishing together at a national event.

Ivy Boothroyd
Meet Ivy (@ivyboothroydrunning_ ) and this is her story at the NSW Junior Championships. Another very young talented rising star in the 400m and 800m. Big goals to chase but this is why we dream!

Connor Bond
Meet Connor (@connor__bond) and this is his story at the NSW Junior Championships 🏆 Connor took the sprint doubles, ran his second PB of the meet and World U20 qualifier of 21.20. But what inspired me the most is his joy and love for his friends on the track and his humbleness.

Quirk’s Way to the World
Moving states, adapting to remote coaching and changes, then overcoming disappointment and finding confidence again. Here is a glimpse into the life of Monique as she chases her Olympic dream.

Josh Azzopardi
Meet Josh, and this is his story at the NSW Open Championships. When Josh and Zac smiled at the camera and I knew this moment was something very special. Hope to see him on the world stage soon! 🤟🏻

Jess Noble
Meet Jess, and this is her story at the NSW 5000m Championships. She recently had an incredible season with great progress across various distances.

Allegra McGivern
Meet Allegra, and this is her story. Always working hard, always having fun with her friends. It was a joy to watch them run!
