About Natalie Wong

Natalie is a Sydney-based sports and documentary photographer with a strong passion for capturing the stories in sports and life. Since 2021, Nat has dedicated herself to documenting the narratives that shape our everyday world. Particularly in track & field and distance running, she curates unique stories within the sport while fostering connections within the community on @beyond_theroad_.

As an amateur distance runner and a Jesus-follower, she sees life and sports through her faith, inspired by her surroundings and eternal perspectives. She values the human experiences shared through different seasons of life. In sports, it is more than mere medals or results. The beauty is found in the journey – the moments in between, the people you get to share life with, and the experiences that shape who you are.

Natalie masterfully combines her creative visions with technical expertise to capture each moment in its raw, emotional essence and transform the ordinary into compelling visual narratives.

She is on a mission to capture the beauty of life through the lens of eternity and tell stories that honour the people, the passion, and the purpose behind every step.
