About Natalie Wong

Natalie is a Sydney-based sports and documentary photographer specialising in distance running and track & field. Since 2020, she has been drawn to the stories that exist beyond the miles and results — capturing the people, emotions and moments that give sport its meaning.

As an amateur distance runner and follower of Jesus, Natalie’s perspective is shaped by a faith that looks beyond the present and an interest in the stories we inherit, carry and create through life. She sees sport as more than competition; it is a space where identity, belonging, purpose and hope can be revealed.

Through her photography and Beyond the Road, Natalie creates visual stories that go beyond documenting what happened. She captures the people, emotions and moments that make a story worth remembering — giving brands, athletes and organisations imagery that communicate not only what they do, but why it matters.

Her work seeks to honour the people behind every step, transforming fleeting moments into compelling visual narratives that can be shared, remembered and carried beyond the finish line.
